Vandor Consulting was not built in a boardroom. It was built through lived experience — years of international work across Singapore, Malaysia and South Africa, a doctorate earned in some of the hardest personal circumstances imaginable, and an unshakeable belief that businesses deserve expert guidance delivered with both rigour and humanity. The name Vandor carries deep meaning. Van — from Vanessa. Dor — from Doris, her late mother. Dr. Rosina Dorothea “Doris” Shuping was a woman of extraordinary courage — the first coloured doctor in South Africa, who studied medicine by candlelight during the apartheid era and broke barriers the system had built specifically to stop her. She raised a doctor, a teacher, and a computer engineer from a household where educational credentials were rare but determination was abundant.

Dr. Vanessa Green holds a PhD in Business Administration, focused on small and medium enterprises (SMMEs), alongside an MBA and years of hands-on experience in food safety, quality management, and business strategy across the consumer goods and food industry.
Her international career spans four continents — Africa (South Africa, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Ethiopia), Asia (Malaysia, Singapore, India), Europe (Switzerland, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, the Netherlands), and the United States and Middle East — bringing global food safety standards to every engagement. She holds deep expertise in HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, regulatory compliance, supply chain quality, and operational excellence.
She has worked with multinationals, SMMEs, and everything in between — and understands that great consulting is not about imposing textbook frameworks. It is about understanding a business from the inside and designing solutions that actually work.
